"High-quality easy to learn and use - thanks!"
Pros
Ease of learning and use - does all the stuff I needed to do to a large volume of Trance rips. I am just doing basic track mix and match and extraction and track concatenation work. I am not editing sounds. .
Cons
Nothing serious. It should display length of track and have easy buttons to navigate the waveform (start, end, etc.)
Summary
I have not used this heavily. Suffice it to say that it did my rather complicated job (fadeins and out and crossfades, etc.) effortlessly and without having to learn a lot of unrelated stuff.
It appears this is a free version, even though CNET says pay after 14 days. If it asks me to pay, I will happily pay the $50 fee.
I had minor experience with other editors and dreaded having to work with them again. WavePad is exactly what I needed and I figured it out in less than an hour without referring to help

hey there, im looking to use a program to edit my trance music to make songs shorter. i want them around 5-5.30min long. I like to mix out of the outro with the intro of the new song. Is this program good enough for this and how would I usually perform this? If you could help it would be much appreciated! cheers , kez.
