Norton says there are several spyware threats and the registry is hard to restore?

Anyone know if this product is really bad spyware, or is Norton paranoid just because it involves a webcam that could be pointed at your privates?

I have tried other software but nothing can match watcher's ease of use and performance it does exactly what its supposed to do
