"I didn't install it because it requires WinPcap 3.1"
Version: WatchWAN 1.0.0.1
Pros
Well, it's free. I didn't actually use the app, since it tried to install WinPcap 3.1 (which I didn't want).
Cons
Any version of WinPcap prior to 4.0.1 is vulnerable to intrusion. WatchWAN's installer pushes WinPcap 3.1b4. Google WinPcap & iDefense, the security advisory should be the second link there.

"Great software - bit of a CPU hog though."
Version: WatchWAN 1.0.0.1
Pros
it's great. very useful to heavy downloaders. displays and records important information about your upload/download volume.
Cons
the only thing wrong (and this is a biggy) is a propensity for hogging processing power and bogging down every other application running.

"Wonderful piece of Sowftare"
Version: WatchWAN 1.0.0.1
Pros
It keeps track of the logs in a simple text file which makes it easier to set it up again even after reinstalling the Windows
Cons
Transparent and smaller windows interface is missing. Click through is a facility where, the mouse clicks are passed to the windows lying under this windiw, transparent window and click through would make this sw another masterpiece
