Fantastic--one-click and you have a server running

- The install couldn't be easier. Right click the tray icon to access everything. It's also useful as a lan server for using wordpress and all its community features in an office, for example. If you had a windows server installed, you'll need to uninstall it and all it's extra pieces. I had to disable my windows firewall to make the server accessible over the lan, but I didn't want to spend a lot of time to find the right firewall setting and security wasn't an issue on our secure lan. Wordpress works great, you just need to install a mysql database first, then you can use automatic install. The address in the network is just the ip of the machine where wampserver is installed, like 192.168.0.5 which will go to the www directory. Sub directories are addressed normally, like 192.168.0.5/wordpress Wampserver comes with phpmyadmin, but I use adminer myself--simply drop the adminer file into the www directory. Wordpress works normally with automatic updates, plugins, etc.
