    "Functionality is WAY too limited in trial version."

    Pros

    Didn't have a chance to try it - none of my WTV files was small enough.

    Cons

    Functionality of the trial version is limited to WTV files of no more than 300Mb in size. Since even a 1/2 hour WTV file is a couple of Gb, it's somewhat pointless getting the trial version. $29.50 is somewhat pricey for a single-format converter.

    Summary

    If you really need this, find someone who has already bought it and do some trial conversions on their computer. If you really want it, buy it only then.

    Another program that can convert WTV files is a Video Redo beta version which has a fully functional trial. But there is an extra step as it only converts WTV to Mpeg so you then have to convert the Mpeg to AVI. On the other hand, it's also a video editor, so you get two in one.
