I had recorded hours of important interview with a film director for an article...I tried to convert into MP3 and the software crashed several times.
AND it DELETED the originals. thank god i backed them up on USB.Summary

Summary
Not worth the download. Set it for batch encode and left it overnight. Came back next morning and the software had done nothing still saying that it was processing the first song. Did absolutely nothing.

Summary
no expensive machine to buy - only needed an extension cord from Radio Shack ($15) to go from my stereo to cord on computer. I also use the cord for listening at night to my TV so it really cost nothing except for the blank CDs which cost about 30 cents each.

Moving around a file structure of files wasn't very smooth or easy.

Simple to use - if it would work.
Cons
Crashed every time - without ever converting any files. Even tried Win95 and WinNT compatibility modes. Still crashed.
