"Will definitely use to prepare 2009 W2s.."
Pros: Used this software to prepare 50 W2s for one of my clients who had problems with the W2s he submitted earlier this year.
Cons: The software can't search for employees by control #, this is why I gave it a 4 out of 5.

Version: W2 Mate 2008 5.0.37
Pros: Installation is intuitive, the configuration process is very simple & using the app is a breeze.
Cons: I was doing 1099 for a contractor who lives in Canada and does work for customers in NY, but the software won?t allow me to pick a state for the address other than one of the US states.
Summary: I recommend this software to anybody who wants to prepare 1099s. read more

Pros: none. everything cost more. base product includes nothing
Cons: can not print your forms unless you buy there specific forms. can not print and file with IRS
Summary: Would not use again. wasted a lot of time and moeny. read more

"I wish I found this software a log time ago."
Pros: The auto generation for W3 and 1096 forms saves a lot of time. Support was awesome...
Cons: No direct import for 1099 misc from SAP software- I had to use the generic import feature.

"You can't go wrong with this software"
Pros: Contains features that many of the more expensive programs do not offer like exporting the W2 forms to Excel.
Cons: Quickbooks import requires QB version 2003 and above
