  "Installed a Crap Ware PC Health Scanner"

  Version: VueScan (64-bit) 9.1.13

  Pros

  Works ok, scans fast , quality good, several featurers.

  Cons

  Too many menus, Photoshop old Twain was clean and ran well. Interface is clunky looking . The trial doesn't allow you to use some of the features to see if you really like it., and finally it installed some Blue Scanner something that scan PC " health. " On that a alone I would never buy it!

  "Great Program. Works with many scanners."

  Version: VueScan (64-bit) 9.0.95

  Pros

  Great range of features, easy to use. Can be very useful with older scanners with outdated drivers. Very good regular updates, worth buying the pro version.

  Cons

  If you do not have pro version an annual licence fee is payable.

  "Very powerful toll for use with many scanners"

  Version: VueScan (64-bit) 9.0.86

  Pros

  Reasonably easy to use. Lots of options to do exactly what you want. Options are tailored to a given scanner so you do not see options that will not apply to your scanner.

  Cons

  Somewhat weak documentation. Unless you buy the "Pro" version, you must renew license for about $40 annually.
