Want to take a voice note? This free, standalone app is one good way to do it. Voice Recorder simply and intuitively lets you record a voice note and save it, or send it on from your Android phone's default Gmail account (no SMS attachments or uploading to social networks yet). If you're disciplined enough to shut down your apps at a specified time of day, you can set an alarm that turns on Voice Recorder for a predetermined duration. You can also choose to turn any recording into a ringtone, for instance, if you favor singing into the mic or performing some spoken word arrangement. Launch a recording from the app or from a widget you can pin to the start screen. Performance was mostly good during our tests, though the app did crash once.
From Mamoru Tokashiki:
This application is a handy voice recorder. The data are recorded to a SD card. Available the following items on the Voice Recorder - send a data as attached file via Gmail - timer & background recording - search by title and date - set recordings as ringtones. Record using the widget. Playback and pause.
Worst app I have ever loaded. Liked to have locked my Razr up for good. Tried to rest my phone with no luck and after 2 minutes I was finally able to get this vermin out of my Razr. Holy Cow!!! stay away from this piece of junk!!!!
Repeat the con several times before you even think of downloading this!!! Save yourself I tell ya, save yourself!!!!
Looks good, intuitive, shows time, easy to name and playback recordings.
Touch screen does not work properly with this app on my X-mini. Records fine first time, but Record button disables thereafter. Not just my fat fingers which all other keyboards/apps don't seem to have a problem with. Shame.
