Not free and other softwares which were free tested a little better than this one in terms of convenience, user friendliness, features and accuracy.
Summary
This Duplicate file Finder software was not bad. I have tested this software with over 20 other Duplicate file finder softwares on download.cnet.com and I give this software 3 stars because other software which were free tested a little better in terms of convenience, user friendliness, features and accuracy. Keep in mind that only 2 of the 20 Duplicate file finder softwares that I tested were better than this software; other Duplicate file finder softwares just failed miserably. In my opinion, "DupKiller" and "Fast Duplicate File Finder" tested better than this software. Based on my tests this software did a worsen job comparing to some "Duplicate file Finders" which were free. That was very shocking.
I gave this software 3 stars not 4 stars because other softwares that were free tested a little better in terms of convenience, user friendliness, features and accuracy. In my opinion free softwares like "DupKiller" and "Fast Duplicate File Finder" tested better than this software! -

To really appreciate this program just try it on your own system!
To see is to believe, this is especially true when selecting computer programs!
I do not think that many software brand deserve the "number-ONE-title" like Vistanita does!Cons
It does not support drag'n'drop but I noticed a pretty responsive attitude to user's notifications and features requests and I am confident that one of the next releases will include that feature too.
Summary
Vistanita Duplicate Finder is incredibly fast and accurate in detecting dupes.
Thanks to the sleek and well designed (tree-view) user interface, adding folders and starting a scan is only requiring a couple of clicks, but -what is to be considered a real plus- is the thumbnail preview of all found duplicates, which will show exactly what has been detected (extremely handy especially when scanning folders containing image files) adding that extra peace of mind and letting you DELETE WHAT REALLY NEEDS TO BE DELETED... Nothing else!
Vistanita DF includes also a 'Delete Assistant': With this handy feature it is a breeze to mark for deletion only older/newer files, OR only files with shorter/longer name, OR just to keep only 1 file for each group.
Plenty of options to configure the dupe identification criteria, and thanks to the (sort of) fuzzy search, combined with extra-rapid checksum, Vistanita DF successfully manages to keep the false positives to a minimum.
I have tested several other duplicate finders (freeware and shareware alike) but the more I test the more I get the confirmation that Vistanita DF is definitely unbeatable... Worth every single cent!
