Since my brand new laptop was stolen, I bought a new older model that uses XP. I had few problems with Vista and I missed it dearly. With the VTP my laptop almost feels brand new! XP may function better, but it's hella ugly.
Cons
II agree w/regards to speed, but I'm fine with that. My only other concern is that there seems to be a relation between VTP and Windows X Live which Macafee marks as a red site. Who ARE Windows X anyway?
Summary
If you're like many who despise the performance of Vista, but think XP is butt-ugly like I do, Vista Transformation Pack is your wet dream come true. I also don't seem to have the same issues others are talking about here, so for me, it was DEFINITELY worth it.

It really is close to Vista. My other has it And so did I till I shot the hard drive. Now back to XP Pro, Am having Vista Withdraw, This makes it easier!

I wish it had the start-up and shutdown screens like Vista has. Other than that this looks like and in some ways acts like Vista
