"Good, but... BE VERY CAREFUL False Positives"
easy to use
quick and easy set up
thumbnails for comparison
dots are confusing and not intuitive
shortcuts to folders are treated as an actual folder, causing many false positives.
right clicking a thumbnail "marks" it, versus giving information about the pic.
This is just a preliminary review as I have only been using this for an hour or so. The download and install was quick and easy. The thumbnail comparisons are a big plus. But upon investigating the location of found duplicates I noticed that the program sees the shortcut I have to My Pictures as an additional folder resulting in all my pics showing up as duplicates. So if I were to actually delete one of the "duplicates" I would really be deleting THE file, without there being a duplicate.
As an experiment, I deleted the shortcut and re-ran the scan and those particular false positives no longer showed up.
Another quirk that I find slightly annoying is that Right Clicking on a thumbnail "marks" it, versus giving you additional information about the pic. Since the right click is usually a context menu option, it would seem logical that instead of taking an action (marking the pic), it would give you information on the file (e.g. name, location, size etc), although I am aware this info is below the preview.
I would have rated this program 3 or 4 stars if not for the shortcut/folder issue. Since this could result in people deleted original files and not duplicates, this is a MAJOR concern.
