"VisiPics 1.25 does what it says"
Pros: And does it well. Good Vista integration, easy to set. In depth pictures duplicate finder, no forgotten ones, as good as some heavy and paying softwares I saw.
Cons: Cons: have not found yet.

"Nice program but not the best duplicate finder"
Pros: I tested this program against Dup Detector, another freeware program, on an archive of 23000 pics. I liked the interface of Visipics better.
Cons: However, when it comes to finding duplicates, Visipics is simply inferior to Dup Detector, finding only approximately 60% of the duplicates Dup Detector would find. Especially the visual inspection of the file is inferior with Visipics. If the files are completely similar, Visipics will pick them out for you too. So if you are looking for real visual inspection of your images, take another choice, if you want to eliminate full duplicates, use this one.
