Pros
Virus Total is a fantastic online suspicious file and URL scanner. It uses up to 43 different virus and malware scanners to check files and web pages. There is a Virus Total upioader as well that you can install on your computer for ease of use!
Cons
The only con I've found is the 20mb file upload limit....

One of few places you can scan a file with so many engines and see the various results (the other I know of is Jotti). Just wish it could scan my whole system.

always good to get a 2nd opinion on something suspicious but with this you get a host of anti virus apps scanning it to many to mention but its rapid and you get the results fast,i use the context menu file upload version of this free utilitie

none at all used it and was suprised by its speed in what it does

get it everyone, i use the context menu upload version of this downloaded from their website, its quick and you get result in under 1min from lots of security apps scanners who tell you if the file is suspect, so try it and see you wont be disapointed as its another very good extra free security product
