    "Good software"

    Summary

    My external 1TB drive somehow got corrupted and Windows could no longer see the drive and offered to reformat it. I searched on the internet and found VirtualLab Data Recovery and was able to recover the files that were important to me. I just hope that Windows will not see it as corrupt anymore so I can safely store more info on it.
