Version: VirtualDub 1.5.10
"A must have tool"
Summary: If you ever want to extract your favorite scene from a movie, if your downloaded movie is too large to fit one cd, or if you just want to have fun playing around with some clip, then this is the correct address to go. Tons of filters (resizing, flipping, smoothing, subtitles etc. just to name a few), very powerful code base - and open source, and IMO #1 by far in its class. It has evolved in time and reached a very mature state. The author could have easily made a small fortune by making it shareware, but you know, true "shared ware" is the "free ware". :)
BTW, I'm now trying to master the capturing process, which apparently seems to be the main purpose and focus of this software.
