Version: VirtualBox 3.0.4 build 50677
"This is a great way to test other OS."
Pros: I can pretty much do any thing with my VB, as far as testing new hardware and OS.I really enjoy the ease of the VB. Plus it's free and useable for windows Vista, unlike the Microsoft virson.
Cons: Runs alittle sluggish at times no matter how much ram, I put in the system?

Version: VirtualBox 3.0.4 build 50677
"Just works, without much hassle"
Pros: Simple to use, and small hard disk footprint (less than 100MB). Virtual machine performance is said to be better than VMWare (which I have not tried). Runs on many host OSes.
Cons: Virtual machine screen resolution seems fixed at 800x600 (at least for the guest OS of Fedora 11). Can not reuse the virtual machine name after the old one is removed. Nowhere to find the binary of the open-sourced version (I used SUN version).
Summary: Good to install other OSes in one computer without formidable disk repartitioning. read more
