    "unwanted download during update"

    September 13, 2015  |   By jgv_007

    Version: Vipre Internet Security 2015

seems to work ok like most antivirus programs

I use Firefox as my primary browser, always have always will. I kept noticing that the Opera browser was listed under my programs. I never used Opera and never downloaded it on my behalf. I would go to add/ delete programs and remove it and within a day, the Opera browser kept being installed on my PC. went crazy with this for weeks on end. Did google search and found others who had same issue. one day I was had cleaned out my PC, ran virus checks, malware checks, deleted Opera again and then I ran Vipre update, Boom, there it was, during the Viipre update the Opera Icon reappeared on my desktop. That proved that Vipre was putting Opera back into my PC. Something I didn't want or asked for. I have since uninstalled Vipre and not use Avira free antivirus. Problem solved.

    "TOTAL GARGAGE!!!!!"

    July 15, 2015  |   By rrcent

    Version: Vipre Internet Security 2015

When I first got Viper Internet Security Suite on my laptop purchased from HSN I ordered the 2013 version. Worked great until due to hard drive reg problem.

Found out the hard drive registry was screwed up from vires, corrupted files that Viper was suppose to block, but did not. This was found out after I purchased a new laptop and installed Viper. To fix this a contract company named IYogi got me to pay $149 for one year. Two months later while still running Viper more unfiltered garbage.

Now Viper wants $100 to do the samething and suggested that I buy windows office. Why I do not know. All I want is for these companies to do what they said they would and not charge me extra fees. I don't know about the rest of you but I am pissed. If this problem is not solved one way or the other, I will blog every site that I can find for all companies involved. It will cost them so much to counter my blogging that something will happen.
As for not avoid Viper (when you try to contact them all you get is contractors wanting more money) DO NOT USE WITH WIN 8, 8.1, OR 10. They don't do what they promise. Since they must have a rating to submit this I have to give them a one, They desire a -10
