Version: Vipre Antivirus + Antispyware 3.1
"Slowed down and locked up system"
Pros: same as others - good idea
Cons: same as others - poor program - slowed my system down considerably - after 1 day had severe problems with system until I unistalled it

Updated on Sep 7, 2008in response to replies - I have no doubt that my system problems with Vipre have to do with multiple av products running at the same time - but most of us just want to install a program and have it work regardless - thanks for the help, though.

VIPRE is blazing fast, but like any security program, you can't run it alongside another AV program. Virtually all performance issues in VIPRE come down to this simple fact.
