Great at catching viruses and removing. Does not slow down my computer, at all.
Cons
Virpe works best when you have a "live - all the time" connection, dail up connects have to be "nursed" because the down load speed to update is so bad.

Overall the final product as an Anti Malware Engine !!!!

its not a scam avast is the scam vipre doesnt allow any virus to get in or get out of the computer and i unistalled vipre before and it didnt do nothing to my internet. when i unistalled avast it left so much junk behind it took me forever to get rid of it

A full featured Firewall with the ability to learn. Quick Scan using Vipre Fast Scan is blazing fast. And if it finds anything thing bad it will recommend a Deep Scan to find if there are any more intruders. And the only time I hear anything from Vipre is when it finds something bad and tells me that the problem has been taken care of successfully.
Cons
I haven't found a single problem with Vipre.
Summary
If you need a true piece of mind solution to your virus woes look no further. Vipre is the answer you've been looking for. You have to see it in action to realize what a complete package it is.

EVERY machine that I have had thru our business with "other: AV products installed gets the VIPRE SCAN ..... SURPRISE !!!! You have an infection ... 90% of clients that are advised request VIPRE replace the existing AV. VIPRE improves not only scan speeds but the overall speed of the machine once a full scan and cleanup is complete. Keep up the great work on this product GFI

ONLY ONE : ..... Vipre does its job too well and repeat Virus Removal business has dropped off :)
Summary
If you dont have Vipre installed ... try the 30 day trial ... you will never go back to the "scamware AV " products
