"Do NOT use Vimeo : Unreliable , Novice and Uptight"
Pros: no pros at all
Cons: They had a technical problem serving videos for 3 days in a row, causeing my site to look horrible. When I went to their forum and posted a polite complaint, they immediately deleted my account along with all my videos.
Summary: This is a comapny that advertises itself as a family safe video site. So the assumption that they are a bunch of uptight mormons is not so out of place. They are a new company with an unclear business plan. You may place all your videos there just to find out that theyve gone out of business 3 months later or that they want you to pay for their services. Being small and novice also means that they have serious technical problems every other day. Being so uptight, if you complain they will delete your account.
