Version: Viewpoint Toolbar 2.0.0.35
"Forces an install"
Pros: None
Cons: I ran my xoftspy spyware remover today, I have never downloaded this software ever!!
It found 33 spywares all belonging to this nasty piece of work! Do not download and install, indeed download xoftspy and I bet you will find this toolbar Lurking! Spybot and Lavasoft didn't pick up on it.

I had the same exact thing happen to me, ran the xoftspy and it found 102 files from it, AND dont know where it came from. It has been on my computer for a year and have no clue how it got there. Spybot didnt find it either.

I 2 just ran my paretologic xsoftspy remover today, never did i download this software found 45 toolbar spy, dont bother getting those free spyware remover pay for xsoftspy and get rid of that junk spy so far it works the best

I too had same experience. Ran Xoftspy and picked up this. And it identifies 30 to 40 instances ecry time I run Xoftspy. Adaware Spybot do not pick it up. "U R RIGHT" and I didnt know where it came from. I did a search on my Pc and came up with nothing. I dont trust anything that invades my PC. I googled it and here I am. I think I will pass. But I know I am going to run Xoftspy again and it will be there. Thanks for your insight.. Ray
