"Watch out for malware"
Version: Videora iPod touch Converter 4.04
Pros
Don't know, didn't use it.
Cons
Watch out for StartupNow toolbar installation. CPU hog.

"Does exactly what I need."
Version: Videora iPod touch Converter 4.04
Pros
Videora successfully converted my video so that I could finally sync it to my iPod Touch 4th Gen. It converted quickly and easily, with no complicated steps or technical jargon.
Cons
The program wasn't able to add the video to my iTunes automatically, but that doesn't even matter if you ask me.
Summary
For a free program, Videora is quick, simple, and to-the-point. No necessary hoopla. I would recommend it.

"Is bundled with OpenCandy"
Version: Videora iPod touch Converter 4.04
Pros
I do not know, I can't install it.
Cons
When I tried to install, I received a warning that win32 OpenCandy was bundled with the installation.
Summary
OpenCandy is an adware installer that you can not opt out of nor will the program work with out it. It will force advertisements and pop ups on you if you have the program installed.
I am not sure when OpenCandy was installed due to the fact that the last update was November of 2008.
It is a shame because the reviews state that this is a good program. However the developers got greedy and bundled adware to their program. -
"Works adequately...free programs dont get much better."
Version: Videora iPod touch Converter 4.04
Pros
-easy use and custom use for tech savvy
-makers of videora actaully update
-reliable, very easy download and installation
-bonus youtube downloader is niceCons
-sometimes converts A/V out of sync
-sometimes, or actually the majority of the time creates moments of frames wrong(really white and bright, unconsistent with the rest of the video file)Summary
overall very good converter.. doesnt get much better than this, for your ipod. people say the software is a little slow? the software is not the problem... actually its your processor, im running different computers at different times... right now(intel core duo, 4 GB RAM)... converts an entire movie in 30 minutes or less...so basically Videora is not the problem... there are things the software creator/s can work on but honestly this is as good as it gets.

"Videora Ipod Touch Converter ROCKS!!!!"
Version: Videora iPod touch Converter 4.04
Pros
This converter is simple to use and understand. You can choose to convert for ipod touch/phone/apple tv/nano/classic, you can choose the quality of your video and the quality of sound. Always the best part: It's F-R-E-E.
Cons
You have to be connected to the internet for it to work.
Summary
You can control the quality of your videos (that's probably why it took 5 hrs for one person to convert video - the quality was too high) I've used this for about 20 videos so far - excellent. I never spent more than an hr on my computer and I've converted about 8 movies so far at about 900 MB each. I've tried to find better programs that are free - can't find them (and many of them only convert 5 - 10 minutes of your video). The only down side is the connection to the internet but most people stay connected to their internet 24/7 anyway. Don't expect to have something converted within a minute or two but if you have a free Saturday, you can convert between 1 - 8 videos per hour . . . Enjoy.

"worked just as Videora says"
Version: Videora iPod touch Converter 4.04
Pros
They make it simple, the program does all the work. Just answer the questions as you go along and the program will do all the work.
Cons
None except when it is telling you where to click to run the program you need to look and the lower screen where your application is and click the tabs there and not in the explanation/description screen. Dah me.
Summary
It took 10 minutes to convert a 32mb video.

"Very slow, more than five hours to convert one movie"
Version: Videora iPod touch Converter 4.04
Pros
It works, but ties up my computer forever. At least it's free.
Cons
It took more than five hours to convert my first movie. Probably won't try again, because I don't have that kind of time. It also uses all your system resources during that time.
Summary
It's the only one around that works AND is free. However, it may be worth paying for a speedier product unless you have a dedicated computer for converting videos.
