"Super easy and worked like a charm"
Version: Videobox 2.7

I downloaded to use on a random (and I mean random) FOX affiliate, and sure enough, it found the video, downloaded and converted it like a charm.
Couldn't have been easier. -
"User since called FLVR - super utility"
Version: Videobox 2.6
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I have been using this program for a long time. When I started using it, it was called FLVR. This is exactly what I want in a utility - software that does exactly what I want, does it quickly and easily, and does not muck up my mac with lots of stuff I don't care about.
In addition - my experience with interacting with the company has been very positive. They promptly respond to my questions. -

A must have for your personal toolbox. Videobox 2.6 is fast, easy, reliable, and a free upgrade since I was an FLVR customer.
I use Videobox 2.6, Leopard 10.5.2, and Safari Version 3.1 (5525.13) very heavily and I have been able to record flash video from every site I had or wanted to.
Yes, they were heard to get a hold of for a while but it's back to business as usual; well made, useful, and nominally priced software. And from my personal experience, fully engaged and caring customer service. Thanks, Tim.
You need to record flash video? Get Videobox.

Try it on this site and you will see that it does not work:

Can anyone suggest a utility that captures Flash videos from websites? -
"A real quality product"
Version: Videobox 2.5.1
Summary

Have been using it a lot with mpeg4 out and next-to-highest quality, auto send to iTunes. Works GREAT. NICE, NICE, NICE!!! I cannot seem to add a title to a download that will stick with it all the way to the mp4 stage, but that is easily remedied manually after the fact. Nice that iTunes can put it on my iPhone as well. This is a real quality product! Needs some illustrated instructions, however, as the many output options can be daunting. Developer support is OUTSTANDING; documentation, so far, is absent. Therefore I rated it neutral on Support/Documentation. Yes, price increased to $15. I should have bought it for $8 when I first downloaded it. --Steve -

I love TastyApps stuff but they GOTTA work on the quality of video on Videobox. It's all blocky and nowhere near as good as the original Flash Video -

I absolutely love Videobox it is sad that more people do not know about it. It is the simplest to use by far! I highly recommend this app to anyone looking to grab flash movies online. -

I'd have to agree. This is the easiest solution yet. Even as a beta, it is stable, and works with any site that I have tried thus far. In a nutshell, it works! In addition, the response from the developers have been top notch as they have been responsive an answer all my questions and take in the feedback that I have given them for the beta. Good tool, good price. Highly recommend. -
"Indispensable!"

I started with FLVR and just started using Videobox. I have tried other products for downloading Flash video, but many don't work on Chinese sites that I frequently use for my research and teaching. Videobox like is predecessor does so flawlessly.
This little program is indispensable for my research and teaching! Thanks to TastyApps I have a huge and growing collection of clips.
And, for the love of God why not by it--it is so cheap!
