"Finally... software that joins files easy and free"

FreeCons: You have to fumble through figuring it out yourself. Took me about 5 minutes.
Summary: I've used CNET for at least ten years and finally signed up only to rate this product. Trying to find a free and fast editor to simply join files together is nearly impossible until now. I can only rate this based on joining files of the same compression as that is all I do with it but I know there are many people out there looking to do the same thing and are probably just as frustrated as I was trying to find free software that would accomplish that.
The first time I joined files I thought I did something wrong because it happened too quickly. Then I was floored that the resulting movie was at the same quality as what I started with.
I timed myself joining three 50+ MB clips into one 150+ movie. From loading the files, queuing the files, producing and renaming... it took 55 seconds.
If all you want to do is join movie files of the same compression for free... this is it.
