"Fantastic for cutting out the best bits of your video"
Pros: Easy to use, Fast, Great Results, make 1 video from the best bits of more than 1 video and oh yeh may i remind you it's free!!
Cons: Be great to re-arrange the segments after spending so long analysing your footage and cutting out lots of segments.
Summary: There's plenty of free licence graphics out there so there's no excuse really why it should look so dull, but saying that i'd rather it work properly than look good. Also it's easy to use, but it could of been simple to use with a little more common ... read more

"Promising but did not work with MPG-2"
Pros: Excellent interface, very intuitive and easy to use.
Cons: MPG-2 clips thrown out of synch when saving.
Summary: I tried combining pieces from several MPG-2 clips into one new clip. (Clips were recorded using Replay Video Capture with identical settings). It worked, but threw the audio out of synch by a second or so, which ruined it for me. (Original clips play... read more

"Best video cut/trim SW I've used- and it's free!"
Pros: Works exactly as claimed with JPEG2 files, even some that were 3 hours long. Took just a few minutes to figure out how it works, from there it was easy. Best of all, the audio & video quality of the output files seem identical to the source files.
Cons: I can't find any cons. I can't comment on how it works with AVI files because I don't use that format. But with my JPEG and JPEG2 files it's been perfect.
Summary: My need was for LOSSLESS cut & join on JEPG2 files. Had I found shareware or low-cost SW that did this job, I would have paid up to $30 for it. To get this functionality for free is great! To Hazem (author of this app): if you added a few simpl... read more

"Finally... software that joins files easy and free"
Pros: Fast
Easy
FreeCons: You have to fumble through figuring it out yourself. Took me about 5 minutes.
Summary: I've used CNET for at least ten years and finally signed up only to rate this product. Trying to find a free and fast editor to simply join files together is nearly impossible until now. I can only rate this based on joining files of the same compres... read more

"Be careful, you may think it is working!"
Pros: Very nice design - user friendly
Cons: It will only play back my .avi file when I start at the very beginning. If I manually move to another spot, the video becomes very distorted. I tried Windows Media Player and Media Player Classic.
Summary: I'm really disappointed. It's easy to use and the functionality is great. read more
