"It runs! It does fun looking things."
Version: Video Card Stability Test 1.0.0.3 build 80416
Pros
It didn't blow up my laptop. It looked pretty darned cool the first time I used it, then it was boring and repetitive.
Cons
What did it do? Where's the report? Where do you find the answers to your questions? What's the meaning of life? It left me unfulfilled.
Summary
Having something on your machine that doesn't blow up, is free, looks cool once and tells you nothing - meh. Not that bad, I guess.

"32-Bit Program"
Version: Video Card Stability Test 1.0.0.3 build 80416

A good program-with links to how I rank among other video cards.

Runs as a 32-Bit vista program in windows 7. Not 64.
Maybe I missed it. but I don't think it was listed anywhere in the program specs... -

"Where are the instructions?"
Version: Video Card Stability Test 1.0.0.3 build 80416
Pros
Good way to compare your video performance with other graphics cards on the market
Cons
Program did not come with instructions, nor is the website very informative! It also does not tell you anything about your video card except the number of frames per second it ran the animation.
Summary
This program is not for you if have problems with your video card and want to find out what's causing them--it won't tell you!

"Excellent video card tool"
Version: Video Card Stability Test 1.0.0.3 build 80416
Pros
After benchmarking, it gives you results of your card vs other cards in the same "performance bracket".
Cons
Locks up from time to time if you have video driver issues. Always when updating or installing drivers remove old ones first with a program like Driver Sweeper. THEN install new or updated drivers. This solves 97-98% of all driver related issues.
Summary
The earth doesn't spin in a way one might imagine, as one reviewer noted, but it's not spinning to replicate reality, it's spinning to test your video card's ability to draw it. Spinning textured spheres can be very challenging for video cards.
Be sure you have the up to date version, as the older one doesn't report FPS (frames per second) accurately. The older version said my Nvidia 9800 GTX+ scored a whopping 12,430 FPS! LOL The new and updated version correctly reported around 700 FPS, and actually makes my video card get hot during testing, so I know it's working hard!
If you're going to do a bench mark, make absolute sure you have a temperature program open and running at the time of the test so you can monitor temps and prevent any possible damage to your video card. Altho one 3 minute benchmark shouldn't cause any heat related damage, an all night stability test can cook a video card like bacon! If you're going to run a stability test, check in on it every 30 minutes or so and check temperatures just to make sure this won't happen to you. -
"Good simple program."
Version: Video Card Stability Test 1.0.0.3 build 80416
Pros
Easy to use. Verified my suspicions that my video card was causing problems.
Cons
When it found artifacts, the display it offered as proof did not show any artifacts.
Summary
This simple looking test will give a good test of most of the video cards capabilities without burdening you with a detailed setup.

"Nice video benchmark program"
Version: Video Card Stability Test 1.0.0.3 build 80416
Pros
It runs great with Windows Vista and it shows a CGI graphic of the earth backwards! It lets you post your video benchmark on the program's website where you can compare yours to what is on the market.
Cons
The graphic of the earth spinning backwards and in some desktops (all windows) the graphic sometimes does not show during the benchmark test.
Summary
This is is a nice program to test the ability of your video card. You can't go wrong with something this simple!
