Version: VersionTracker Pro 4
"RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS"
Pros: I was lucky I had a problem in the purchace screen.
Cons: This is so dissapointing that Cnet would put out a program like this that is worthless. I now have problems trusting their reviews if they think this junk is a "good buy". WRONG!!!! How sad....

Yes, I purchased this program based on cnet's review of it also. I'm going to be a LOT more careful with what I buy and no longer base it on cnet's promotion. This is indeed...very sad. I wasn't as lucky as you where I actually spent $30 on it, and I"m sure I'll have a snowball's chance of getting my money back from them. After all, they only work 9-5 even though their "store" is open 24/7.

I agree. Tried Version Tracker pro and messed up my system . Had to spend 2-3hrs fixing my system! Stay away from this!!!!!!!!!!!

Has C -Net responded because this sucks. But I was completely hung out to dry on a Microsoft site and I mean duped and the response from MS was about as underwhelming as it gets, I got no response. I think they can spend 10 minutes checking out their paid advertisers. I don't buy the can't trust anyone bit either, I trusted C-Net for some help. I was stung on this site before and had time to stop payment, can't do that here.
