Version: VaioSoft Recovery Manager 1.0
"Whew!"
Pros: I purchased a SanDisk 2GB SD card for use in my PDA recently and had great results with it until I tried using it in my Pentax Optio S5i camera. I formatted the card and noticed that I had the same storage as my 1GB card.
Uh-oh. I put it back in the PDA and tried a reformat with SoftWinter's Storage Tools. No dice. Then I tried PhotoRescue 2.1 which is a great program for salvaging photos and other files, but doesn't offer a format option. Recovery Manager did the trick in quick format, even though when I first popped in the card this software saw it as 1GB where PhotoRescue knew it was 2GB all along.
Cons: Only gave it 4 stars b/c it didn't immediately recognize the card as a 2gb that had been formatted as a 1gb.
