"If It Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It"

    April 10, 2012  |   By hauntnut

They've apparently streamlined the interface a bit more compared to the versions prior to 2.0.0. It looks nice, but is deceiving.

First they release version 2.0.0, which came with a myriad of problems. So what exactly changed with the release of version 2.0.1? Nothing noticeable. The HD video files still stutter and pixelate, while every single Blu-Ray disc I attempted to play gave the same error message as the previous version. I didn't bother after that; if it's not going to handle HD content or play the Blu-Ray discs it claims it will play, then why go any further?

Until they can get their act together, I'll be sticking with version 1.1.9. It runs better, smoother, doesn't take up nearly as many resources, and does what it says it will do. Versions 2.0.0 and up are deplorable, and I find it irritating that they would release it when it has so many problems.
