    "Quite rubbish."

    Fancy features that I won't use.

    Cons

    Bad interface (1. mimics the Skype interface - no one wants a gigantic monolith screen that contains everything, the whole point of having a lot of screen real estate and the option of multiple windows is that you can move things around; 2. even if you change preferences to request that the video doesn't play back in the main window, the video and controller don't separate; 3. when playing a video, if you switch to the controller and then want to see the video again, you have to choose Playlist in the Window menu, which isn't intuitive), missing the very useful step-forward/step-backward button, and finally, slows down my Mac like crazy even though VLC has always been minimalist and efficient in interface and operation.

    Summary

    Crap. Well, to be fair, the bugs can probably be ironed out, but this new "let's merge everything into one window" trend really needs to stop.

    Original was amazing though! Just to clarify. And its ability to read practically every video file is still great.
