Version: VLC Media Player 1.0
"Good Player but has some hiccups"
Pros: Plays a wide variety of files.
Cons: Tries to take over as the default player for all media types.
Summary: I will probably uninstall it since all software needs updating and with the issues this has now I'm not sure that it couldn't be used in a buffer-overflow exploit.
Just crashed when I played a particular .AVI file which played under WMP fine.
But Thanks to the authors for all of their hard work.
