I have been using VLC for a week and it is working very well. I could not open video files that were given to me but a friend told me to try VLC, . I am finding so many extra's and all free.

Summary
Some of the programs I have spent good money for have not worked as well as this free program. I eventually threw those programs away or deleted them but this one loooks to be a keeper. Very easy to manage even an advance newbie like myself can handle it.
