Pros: it has great versatility.
Cons: it needs more understanable set up instructions as most people don't speak fluent geek
Summary: I love the quality of the player...fabulous.... but it needs easily understandable set up instructions....perhaps more automation in the set up.....big stupid easy to understand pictures...even...whatever gets the public to embrace open source produc... read more

Pros: It follows the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) policy - easy to figure out what to do and where to do it
Cons: Occasionally freezes - mainly due to faulty DVD's than anything else

Pros: almost all formats are playable with vlc player and can play even broken videos.
Cons: crashes sometimes
