Pros
Installing Win 98 SE on a K8V-MX m/b. Managed to download and successfully install all drivers apart from on-board audio. The recommended Soundmax and other seemingly obvious candidates were each greeted by the yellow Question Mark in Device Manager. Trying this driver made Device Manager happy again!
Cons
None really; unlike others, it simply worked. Its pretty basic, with no "bolt-on goodies", a driver that worked for me on a Via motherboard (circa 2004) running Windows 98SE
