"It restored function on an old copy of XP."

Pros
Before using it, I had lost any number of functions stemming from a re-installation of XP 2000. It restored full functionality and brought the machine up to 100%. I am impressed.

What's not to like?
Summary
I had to reload a version of XP back onto my machine in order to correct some flaws that were my fault. In doing so, my machine lost some abilities, most of which I felt were critical to good operation. After a long search, I downloaded and installed this chipset driver package and it was instrumental in returning my machine to its original state---and better! I now have functions I didn't have before, as well as having all my old ones back. The sleep and hibernate modes are now fully functional, whereas they were not before. Things are smoother, easier to do, and it seems to have picked up some operation speed along the way. This is a winner!
