Version: VH Screen Capture Driver 2.2.2
Pros
A fairly simple screen capture driver that a lot of people like because its very simple yet reliable to use. Probably the only notable screen capture driver available
Cons
Interface is ugly and while its plain simple to use, it may still confuse noobs to its poor UI.
Summary
Superb product. the creators of this have created a much more robust and commercial broadcasting product called as XSplit Broadcaster which I think will top the gaming broadcasting market in no time.

"Useful virtual driver"
Version: VH Screen Capture Driver 2.2.2
Pros
Using this to capture Milkdrop and involve it as a video mixing source. It works well.
Cons
I could only get it to capture one area/window at a time. VH supports multiple instances but my video mixer doesn't know that.
May require some trial and error to get the results you want.Summary
Building on VH, the developer has a newer project called Xsplit which is super useful. You can define all the desktop capture areas you want and arrange them in a window with your webcam, photo and video media, and live video sources. You can build 12 presets. The output comes through the xsplit broadcaster virtual webcam driver, which you can use in chat or whatever. It also supports streaming to various video sharing sites.
