Version: VDownloader 0.83
"Amazingly Easy and Powerful."
Pros: Does what it is designed to do, and does it in several different, useful ways. I've downloaded lots of these types of programs, and this one is the gold standard (for freeware).
Cons: No browser add-on to automatically capture video URLs, but does integrate a browser into the program. This may actually be a pro for some.

"Excellent product for teachers"
Pros: Allows teachers to use media that they find at home. Many schools block YouTube and Daily Motion. VDownloader allows me to enrich my lessons with valid media and realia. The program lets me save videos to my iPod touch!
Cons: I haven't found any!

"Does what it's supposed to do"
Pros: Efficiently does what it's supposed to do.
Automatically pastes into the VDownloader address window whatever you copy to the clipboardCons: The last version installed a toolbar, even though I unchecked that option.

Pros: the quickness of downloading it.
Cons: it just doesn't work for me.
Summary: I'm sure this product could be great if it just worked for me.
