Version: V3 Pro 2004
"Glorified SPYWARE!!!! DO NOT INSTALL (if you have a choice, unlike me)"
Pros: Easy to use. So easy, in fact, that it doesn't ask your permission to install/configure itself, and takes the liberty of re-installing itself after any uninstall attempts.
Cons: Somehow this got on my computer after visiting a Korean website (a totally legit University site). IMPOSSIBLE to get off my system. Whenever I uninstall, it immediately starts reinstalling itself. All my anti-spyware stuff doesn't recognize it. AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

We suspect that this happened because that University set an Active X program to install a security software management agent program to all the web site visitors. In this case, as the agent file is installed to your PC, even though you uninstall the actual security software (e.g. V3 Pro), it automatically re-install this software when you are connected to the internet; Even though you did not visit that University site again. This is the fault of that University not limiting IP address range to install this security softare management agent programs. To un-install this agent program, please contact at "e-support@ahnlab.com" and we shall send you an agent-uninstaller program. If you let us know the name of the University, we will let them apply the guideline we initially provided to them.
Hope you can find a solution and understand that V3 Pro is not a spyware program.
