    "These guys Scam You!!!!!!!"

    May 10, 2010  |   By mochamike

    Version: UseNext by Tangysoft 4.34

    Pros

The Pro's are they guys scamming you... they Lie on the phone to you, they "shine" on your complaints, and then attempt (Nicely) to suggest your PC is to blame.

    Cons

Almost every download comes with a trojan or a worm... or just plain old Non-compatibility.

The "Free trial" isn't free at all... They charge you a "Ghost" fee (as described by their phone rep) That actually goes through after 14 days... not free!

    Summary

Cnet is reputable... why are they allowing these crooks do upload things for distribution?

    "Complete lack of security"

    February 19, 2010  |   By ihateusenext

    Version: UseNext by Tangysoft 5.12

    Pros

Easy to use - fast download speeds
Good if you are German - lots of German content

    Cons

    Expensive
Lack of security which allows others to hack into your account and steal your download volume, which you have paid for.
Lots of German content - not so good if you are not German.

    Summary

Usenext support know this happens and will do nothing to recompense you, just telling you that you have to pay for more bandwidth if you want to continue.
So, the whole process is a rip-off, geared to making them more and more money without consideration for their customers.

"Absolutely the easiest Usenet client out there."

    February 16, 2010  |   By sharidan

    Version: UseNext by Tangysoft 5.12

    Pros

This is no-brainer software. I use (and have used) several other Usenet clients. This one takes all the guesswork out of getting what I want.

    Cons

    A bit pricey...

    Summary

I'm not into guesswork these days. This gives me everything I want and truly does all the work for me. Other similar software I've used may give you access to the Usenet, for a lower price, but this one puts all the files together for you when there are multiples being downloaded. The Download Wizard does everything for you. I decompresses most any file for you and keeps track of everything you need to know....but does it as discretely as possible. I try others, but I always come back to to Usenext.

"This company will rip you off if given a chance."

    February 15, 2010  |   By rmasci

    Version: UseNext by Tangysoft 5.12

    Pros

Nothing I did not like their interface

    Cons

I did not like their interface

    Summary

WARNING: This is a company to stay away from, they will rip you off fast if given a chance. I thought my "Free" account was canceled, I did go up with my web browser and canceled it To my surprise two weeks after my PayPal was charged $112 for the next 30 days of service. At any rate canceled or not canceled I asked for a refund as I didn't use the service nor have I used this service. Surly they could check their server records and find that I didn't download even 1MB from their service, nor have I logged in since the first day of the "Free" trial. They refused the refund.

My opinion is that a company that makes money this way is not just going to burn me, but going to burn other members as well therefore my conclusion is there are other companies that offer the same service at a much lower than $112 for 30 days download -- this company is one NOT to do business with, so do your downloading from another company.

Even after I complained, they only re-enabled my account after I again ensured it was closed. At what point do they not understand I DO NOT WANT THEIR SERVICE? They don't seem to understand, Do I need to type it in German?

    Updated on Feb 15, 2010

BEWARE!!!! Others have been riped off by this service not just me:

"USENEXT ISNT FREE ITS A SCAM"

    January 16, 2010  |   By rachaelwholey

    Version: UseNext by Tangysoft 3.61

    Pros

THERE IS NOTHING GOOD THAT CAN COME IF YOU SIGN UP. ENTER INTO A CONTRACT AT YOUR OWN RISK

    Cons

they will con you out of your money and that will be the last you jear from them

    Summary

i have used usenest for sometime with no problems. i couldnt log in to my account one day so i emailed them with no reply. i phoned them and they told me it was pay pals problem ane to join with a different email address. this i did i paid my 1 euro and awaited my log in details. they never came. i did this a further 4 times with the not so helpful assitance of usenext customer support. each time the account would not work i was advised to sign up again, it states in their terms and conditios that you have to cancel within 14 days of free trial. i reminded them of this. they advised me that all but one of my recent sign ups had been cancelled. on the 5t attempt i received the log in details for my account. i logged in and immediately tried to cancel. this would not work so i phoned them. they advised the account had been cancelled. to my surprise 1 days later not only did they take 95.35 euros out of my paypal account for the sucessful account sign up they took 95.35 euros out of pay pal for the other 4 failed accounts. i am now out of pocket to the tune of nearly £500. do not use this company. they really are a scam. their contact number is in germant and by the time you are answered by a guy who cant speak english you will have wasterd a lot of monwy on hold. i only joined because there was a link from a site to download a trial game of dora the esplorer. this is the most expensive game in history i think i must contact the guiness book od records. i have alwas trusted cnet but now i am not to sure. they need to end their relationship the usenext. i contacted my credit card company and the matter is still under investigation. i will update when i know the out come. it does not look hopefull. i was duped into signing up 5 times and have no proof email or phone call i had been told they were cancelled. DO NOT TRUST USENEXT., THEY ARE LOAD OF GERMAN WAR DODGERS ANYWAY AND IF I HAD KNOWN THEY WERE GERMAN I WOULD NOT HAVE BOTHERED

"be carful, cancel trial or you wil be chraged"

    November 13, 2009  |   By abusenext

    Version: UseNext by Tangysoft 5.02

    Pros

It was OK, didnt use it after the trialperiod

    Cons

cancel your account or you will be charged

    Summary

Like i said above, It was OK, didnt use it after the trialperiod.
The problem is that i removed the software during the trialperiod, but didnt cancel my account. And now i am charged for ? 90,-
It is stated in the terms of use that you have to cancel, but i have never heard of any software that you have to take actions to cancel your trial, normally you cant use the software after the trial has expored.
Seems all legal, so now i have to pay ? 90 for something i hardly used.

"Could become a good program for downloading files."

    October 13, 2009  |   By drafzaal

    Version: UseNext by Tangysoft 5.02

    Pros

Quite a number of times you find the file or program you are looking for. Very useful but all the time.

    Cons

Mostly, when you find your file, it is in German. Lots of Giabyte are lost like this. 70% of the files are loaded with viruses or trojans. I have suffered many times for this.

    Summary

I strongly suggest that German and English sections should be made separate. Selecting the language when the program starts would make it excellent.
The automatic renewal should be improved. Every monthwe should be asked about it. AND THE REMAINING VOLUME SHOULD BE ADDED. At present the system is not acceptable for many. Why should we be penalized for not using some bandwidth.

    "be careful !!!"

    October 11, 2009  |   By ronf572

    Version: UseNext by Tangysoft 5.02

    Pros

UseNext is a nice PAY for service of the usenet community.
you may be able to find some files you are looking for.
After 3 years i found a way to cancel my account. They appear to have started allowing cancellation on-line----hooorah!

    Cons

Often files you find contain virus and trojans or worse the torrent is incomplete you will have downloaded MB or GB of useless stuff that will clutter your disk storage space.
IT CAN BE EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO END THE AUTO_RENEWING.
    ACCOUNT.

    Summary

If PB and similar torrent services disappear Usenet and UseNExt type companies will again flourish. there needs to be a responsible site to share resources and software companies should have a method for users to have enough time with their software to decide is this the correct software for what the user wants to do. Honestly i have "tried" CAD software prior to buying and companies giving 30 day trials is not enough time to decide on a $5000 software package. the sme goes for other graphic and design software. Who could possibly learn enough about how some software works in 30 days to decide to pay those exorbitant prices for them.
AND YES I DO PURCHASE THE SOFTWARE I DECIDE BEST SUITS MY NEEDS AND DELETE THE OTHERS. But anyone out there that ever tried to decide what the best professional software is for them knows what i am saying and throwing a multi-thousand dollar dart isn't a good business practice.
