"Unplayable..."

Pros
Interesting weapons for the most part. It's free.
Cons
Framerate isn't stable. One second the game is running 35 FPS, then next second, the frame rate is extremely slow down to 8 FPS. The frame rate slows down when the action gets intense, and also on the type of map you are playing on.
Summary
The guns are interesting in that they have each their unique kick to them when you fire them. Some guns spread apart the shooting trajectory under full auto, and others kicks back, and up, even side to side. While this makes the game more skill oriented for each firearm, the frame rate makes it almost impossible to land any good shots, on top of that, you can get online lag. That's the games major flaw, it's just too difficult to aim with choppy inconsistent framerate. When you add the built-in variables of unique recoil of each gun, maintaining a good shooting is nearly impossible with the framerate. It's unstable. Guns vary damage, rate of fire, and accuracy. You need a super computer to keep the framerate fast enough to be playable, and it's based on the old Quake 3 engine, so even if you do have a super computer, don't expect much eye candy on the graphics department. Your teammates often get in the way, and often times they are the reason you die, because your mobility is removed. The controls are slippery as well. If you travel, then stop, you slide some even after you stop. There is even dash moves that give you a tremendous slide as if you were sliding on ice for distance of 10 feet, or more. Also the littlest of obstacles can hinder your mobility, and you must be very wary of little corners and avoid them. Because you won't slide over them, or through them, or even walk over them. I installed the game, impressed by some things, but really a waste of time than anything.

it can be a good game but is being manipulated by the game developers, everything went bad after 4.0 came out, which is when ioUrT came out bundle with the game. Quake3 allows punkbuster but everything thinks is not supported anymore. ver3.7 was best

Game frame smoothness is horrible, maps are modified live in memory to allow cheats creating added lag, as of 4.1, war results are manipulated, good players have no chance showing off as laws and physics get manipulated from the server level,not user
Summary
This game is full of cheats and manipulations allowed from the mod source code and done by the same developers.
If you get kicked from a server when you're running quake3 as engine something that's rare now days, it will say invalid reference for the pak map, this is due to the map being modified in memory to allow cheats such as warping, lagshots, non hitdetection, intentional high spreed of bullets, invisibility, slow running speed or faster then usual all to manipulate the game, some maps allow more cheats then others, you don't see these error with iourt or ioquake3 engines perhaps because is patched to ignore it, I explain this conspiracy close to details in my documentary @Youtube "More advanced explantion of the cheat conspiracy of UrT" I have demos that prove "invisibility and non-hit detection" bias of the server a team, is all ramdom which team gets favored, all meant to make people addicts and careless to think / plan as you can win easily or loose badly doing exactly the same thing.
We must force fronzeland to resign and public their names so no one hires them again for doing this to people which affects their mental health as people are being getting use to go for just the pleasure of shooting stuff not doing anything constructive. When I started in 2006, even then ver 3.7 which was a lot better in terms of graphics and gameplay cause it used quake3 mainly, still had cheats injected by some people one of them I remember called "somehigh" but people are stupid that is one reason they can pull it out, you may think I'm exagerating but most teenangers are really zombies with no soul that's what it appears, even the ones from my clan which left me because they do not believe what I say is true or don't want to install quake3 with pb so we can play in my server under my new conditions, things such as fluoride and toxicity in our food contributes to the high level of ignorance, mediocracy and apathy we see now days on 19 and under even tou we have much more information available to us tru different means then 10 or 20 years ago people still thought obama equals change for example, video games are to into this conspiracy.
I ask all game developers that want to help me,. to contact me to make justice, also to help me set up my game server which is currently banned from public viewing as I also forgot to mention they manipulated the listings, and also the ping times when there's s clearly more lag going on but people don't think anymore they just look at the ms and think their connection is excellent because it says 30-50, that's how they pull monopoly off, hidding some and appealing others.

dont' believe in strangers who say they want to help you when you are developing a game or some program to help users do something, you dont know who may be behind this and with what intentions.

proof that invisibility is real ( one think we'aren't careful enough when you get shoot from unexpected but it is usually due to manipulation of the enviroment as you can see here, some people that "camp" say after they get shoot that the only way to them was tru a path they were looking and when they died no body was there, in reality someone was there but the game made him invisible.

This demo proofs bias of the server towards one team, in this case blue team was winning 9-0 caps and their rampage wasn't going to be stop by even a good player. as you can see the game wanted blue to win the round and wasn't making my shoots count. (this also happens in elections)

we have to enforce balanceness in video games and we can't play that game until fairnes is installed and enforced.
I'm sure this happens on other video games like counter strike, and I heard people say things get unfair on wow or starcraft, this is a conspiracy to sabotage our mind's health and reasoning, this can't be the work of just game developers alone is something higher, people that play video games often measure their skills and abilities against the results they get but the reality is if you arne't mean to win u wont. -
"Fast Paced Fun, Addictive Gameplay"

Pros
There's a lot to like about this game. think Counter-Strike, and all the tactical elements required to play that game, then apply some speed to it. The popular Quake III mod has been going strong for a while now, long may it continue.
Cons
As with most online free FPS games, there are hackers, though not to the extent of some other titles. While there are plenty of veteran gamers around on the servers, the game is also popular with a younger audience which may cause concern in-game.
Summary
Download a copy, and jump straight onto a server and play! Remember to say hi (oh and watch the tutorial demo please!) :)
