Uplink takes the normally dull world of hacking and remakes it Hollywood style. The game is very engrossing, but some of the missions may become repetitive. Also, note that the demo version is very restrictive. While the graphics and sound are typical for a DOS-based game, it offers many detailed and interesting features and it did not crash/freeze on my computer. Overall, it's worth downloading if you don't have an extremely slow connection.

You know how movies always make hacking look so glamorous, fun, and life-threatening? Well, this game does, too- except you're in control. A complete freakin' blast if you don't mind the non-jaw-dropping (but fitting and very stylish) graphics. I just wish it were freeware...
