"Don't bother"

It seems a fun game. I like hacking games, and this has lots of potential.
Cons
There are lots of bugs in it, so don't even bother to try the demo. Servers inside the game will just terminate your connection randomly before even tracing you, and the tutorial brings up problems as well. I would like to play this again once it's been stabilised.

Totally sweet, pretty close on some little hacking ideas (dont look at me i dont hack) cough cough, any ways DOWNLOAD THIS IT IS AWSOME!!!!! 10x's better than Digitall Hazard, i mean these people thought about a game plan here and prevailed. You Actually had to work instead of always being told what to type and stuff like that. Highly Recommended!!!!!!!!!!

its a DEMO on 4 levels beat it in about 30-45 min (playing it twice, but doing more)!

the pros of this program would have to be that it has a (semi)reality to it because people actually do stuff like this but i thought it ruled when i first played it...like......it realy ruled

it was a little dull coz: 1.if you hack banks you get sooo much money that you have everything good and you dont want to do any more so you get bored and....sleep

This game got me hooked on hacking games. If you only get one such game, Uplink is the one. It has a good variety of missions ranging from stealing files to system destructions, from looking up personal information to criminal frameups, plus there are tutorials and a "test mission" to get you started. In addition, the developer's CD is available from Introversion, and there are already mods with a greater variety of missions.
Cons
The missions do get repetitive after a while, and some missions (frame users for...) don't work later in the game.
