N/A; I wonder whether there is some truth in some of the critical reviews
I have installed Unlocker and subsequently deleted successfully a folder of 13 GB which had been created by EaseUS Todo Free 4.0 when I restored files to another location than that of the original folder. This was just a test whether EaseUS recovers properly. It does. However, I could not delete the recovered folder by using Windows Ultimate 64 bits. Unlocker deleted this folder without any issues.
Of course, having read some valuable reviews I did not install the offered Babylon toolbar, i.e. unchecked the appropriate box.
I assume that files downloaded from CNET are clean anyway. To be on the safe side, I checked the exe file and subsequently the installed program with Microsoft Security Essentials. It has not found any malware.
I wonder what the reason is for some of the critical reviews. All these opinions have to be taken seriously as there may be some truth in them. Unfortunately, RSonCNet has not yet replied to my question. I wonder why and how Lockhunter seems to be better?
