Version: Unif PDF To HTML Converter 2.0
"Conversion uproots my computer's Explorer.exe!"
Pros: Installation went smoothly, but I was never able to convert a PDF to HTML. Uninstallation was clean and hassle-free.
Cons: Each time I tried to convert one of my PDF files to HTML, the progress bar appeared at the same time that the entire Windows user interface shell (Explorer.exe) disappeared underneath. The progress bar never moved beyond 0%. Ctrl-Alt-Del didn't work until I closed the progress bar window, after waiting 2 or 3 minutes to see if anything progressed (nothing happened). Once I closed the progress bar window, nothing was left on the screen except the background color. No icons, no Start button, nothing! I had to restart the user interface (File | New Task | Explorer.exe). Thinking that this was a temporary glitch, I rebooted and reinstalled the program, with the same result. There is the possibility that something on my computer, such as a corrupt file, is the cause of this bizarre behavior, although all of my other programs work fine. If this program works for you, great, give it more stars to offset my low rating.

The outcome was very disappointing. It did retain the format and images, but text was severely scrambled. I thought that might still be OK if I could edit it, but I tried to do this in Frontpage, but no go.
