"DVD burn is broken"

Pros
I purchased v7 and loved this product. It allows you to navigate an .iso file almost as if it were a folder, and you can drag/drop files and folders to/from the iso. Burns to disc, rips from disc, supports multiple formats.
Cons
I would give this a five-star rating, but after downloading v8, whenever I go to burn a disc the checkbox to select "DVD disc" is hidden. DVDs simply do not burn, I tried it on two different computers (completely different, one a home-built white box, one an Acer laptop, both support all common DVD formats). Whether the latter problem is related to the former problem is not certain, but I had to downgrade back to v7 to be able to burn DVDs again. I found no option in v8 that would get DVD burning to work. So go figure.
