Highly versatile and especially proficient with boot discs, UltraISO Media Edition creates, edits, and burns disc images in several popular formats: ISO, BIN, Nero, Alcohol, CloneCD, and Xbox. It also converts images among formats. UltraISO supports data and audio/video discs and includes a simple MP3 encoder, but it really excels at creating bootable discs. It even can create a disc with a menu for booting several OSs.
The interface is well organized, though rather plain, and we wish its icons were more readable. Also on the negative side, the program can't mount CD images, which will diminish its value for some. However, if you need support for multiple image formats and want to design bootable discs, UltraISO makes a very good pick.

"This is one of the best burners I have ever used"
Pros: VERY easy to use, one of the best burners I have seen that is free, great for burning iso's, great for making iso's. Fantastic software, recommended if you have any problems with your old burner.
Cons: If it even matters, when I name the disc before trying to burn it, it wont allow me to burn the files.

Pros: I added files to an ISO image, extracted some files; changed them, and added them back, and deleted some files, then burned a cd - none of the changes made were on the cd.

"UltraISO is an easy to use ISO manipulation and Burning solution"
Pros: I find the interface easy to use and setup. It's quite valuable to me since I work with allot of ISO's from MSDN subscriptions and linux distributions.
I really appreciate how often it's updated to the latest standards and technologies. I also appreciate the fact that my installation code works in all version thus I'm spared having to upgrade every year.
Cons: It's full of minor interface quirks.

"Good Product but Customer Service is plain Awful"
Pros: UltraISO is a pretty comprehensive and light software--I've used it before as a trial version and it worked great
Cons: Caveat emptor if u want upgrade...if you pay for an upgrade via PayPal expect to wait more than 24+ hrs to get your registration key. Check out their forums--riddled with people complaining about not getting their key in a timely fashion BEWARE!
Summary: My bottom line is... if you're looking for something to meet your drive imaging needs ASAP DO NOT upgrade! I like the product but the service is so awful I would look at something else if I hadn't paid already!

Extremely reliable.
Can create virtual drives for mounting CD image files.
Can create bootable volumes.
Clear and uncluttered GUI a pleasure to use.Cons: None noticed after a year of use.
Summary: A very reliable and versatile piece of CD burning software, been using it for a long time and really can't fault it.
