Highly versatile and especially proficient with boot discs, UltraISO Premium creates, edits, and burns disc images in several popular formats: ISO, BIN, Nero, Alcohol, CloneCD, and Xbox. It also converts images among formats. UltraISO supports data and audio/video discs and includes a simple MP3 encoder, but it really excels at creating bootable discs. It even can create a disc with a menu for booting several OSs.
The interface is well organized, though rather plain, and we wish its icons were more readable. Also on the negative side, the program can't mount CD images, which will diminish its value for some. However, if you need support for multiple image formats and want to design bootable discs, UltraISO makes a very good pick.

Version 8.5.1.1860 has build-in ISO CD/DVD emulator (ISODrive), can mount 30+ data CD/DVD images including ISZ format, directly edit UDF ISOs and comes with some improvements.

Pros: I purchased v7 and loved this product. It allows you to navigate an .iso file almost as if it were a folder, and you can drag/drop files and folders to/from the iso. Burns to disc, rips from disc, supports multiple formats.
Cons: I would give this a five-star rating, but after downloading v8, whenever I go to burn a disc the checkbox to select "DVD disc" is hidden. DVDs simply do not burn, I tried it on two different computers (completely different, one a home-built white box, one an Acer laptop, both support all common DVD formats). Whether the latter problem is related to the former problem is not certain, but I had to downgrade back to v7 to be able to burn DVDs again. I found no option in v8 that would get DVD burning to work. So go figure.
