Highly versatile and especially proficient with boot discs, UltraISO Premium creates, edits, and burns disc images in several popular formats: ISO, BIN, Nero, Alcohol, CloneCD, and Xbox. It also converts images among formats. UltraISO supports data and audio/video discs and includes a simple MP3 encoder, but it really excels at creating bootable discs. It even can create a disc with a menu for booting several OSs.
The interface is well organized, though rather plain, and we wish its icons were more readable. Also on the negative side, the program can't mount CD images, which will diminish its value for some. However, if you need support for multiple image formats and want to design bootable discs, UltraISO makes a very good pick.
Publisher's description
From EZB Systems :UltraISO can extract, create, edit, and convert CD/DVD image files. It can directly edit an ISO file, make ISO images from CD/DVD-ROMs, create a new ISO from files and folders on your computer, and make bootable CDs and DVDs. In addition, UltraISO can convert nearly all known CD and DVD image formats to ISO, BIN/CUE, Nero (NRG), Alcohol 120% (MDS/MDF), and CloneCD (CCD/IMG/SUB) formats, as well as burn CD/DVD images directly through Nero Burning ROM or Microsoft cdburn/dvdburn utility. UltraISO can be used as an ISO and BIN extractor, creator, editor, and converter with most CD/DVD-burning software and virtual CD/DVD drive software, it can handle most Apple DMG images, create Windows/Mac hybrid CD with HFS volume, make Audio CD from MP3/WMA/WAV files, and create DVD-Video, XBOX DVDs and PS2 DVDs.
Version 8.2 supports project file, can create, edit and burn PS2 CD/DVD images as well as compile IML to ISO/BIN, and comes with several improvements and bug fixes.

"Might be a good program, BUT........"
Pros: Looks like a great tool, especially for free like the email said............
Cons: As soon as you load it you find out it is NOT free - it is a demo only and for $30 you can have it. $30 does not sound like free to me! So into the recycle bin it went faster then you can say "but its NOT free!"

Version: UltraISO Premium 8.2
Pros: It looks cool, but it's listed as Free in the newsletter. A Register so you can use this program window popped up. So, in the immortal words of Strong Bad: DELETED! *loud floppy drive*
Cons: $$$

"Free Software???? Fooling through Newsletter"
Pros: Can't say........
Cons: I clicked on the the link for this software just because the newsletter gave a good, brief about this product and it was marked as "Free". When I came to the site, I realised that it is "not Free". Now, I am in a fix, whether the newsletter is wrong or the site is wrong. I have strange attitude towards such products - REJECT THEM.

Version: UltraISO Premium 8.2
Pros: It is very easy to use yet still very powerful. Allows complete manipulation of ISO images, including adding/saving boot sectors. It even integrates with Alcohol to allow mounting of the files it creates. Just superb
Cons: The interface looks a little childsih at first until you remove the 'skins' and silly sound effects.
