Highly versatile and especially proficient with boot discs, UltraISO Premium creates, edits, and burns disc images in several popular formats: ISO, BIN, Nero, Alcohol, CloneCD, and Xbox. It also converts images among formats. UltraISO supports data and audio/video discs and includes a simple MP3 encoder, but it really excels at creating bootable discs. It even can create a disc with a menu for booting several OSs.
The interface is well organized, though rather plain, and we wish its icons were more readable. Also on the negative side, the program can't mount CD images, which will diminish its value for some. However, if you need support for multiple image formats and want to design bootable discs, UltraISO makes a very good pick.

Version 8.1.2.1625 has build-in CD/DVD burning engine, supports Virtual CloneDrive and compressed ISO format(.ISZ) with AES256 encryption and multiple CD/DVD volume spanning feature.

"Why store dics if you can store images?"
Pros: The installer is ok and the registering process is easy. working with UltraISO is also very easy but you should first just open it and have a look for at least a 15 seconds: after that i knew what is what. The iso writeing process - with save - is very fast, even to a mapped network drive. I could tell the same about the converting - really acceptable - where you'll meet with several possibilites, including BIN/CUE, NRG and IMG/DUB. These extensions are also supported at save. You can convert all to all, very impressive.
Even if the help is short, it's clear, contains pictures showing what is what and you can search in the chm file.
Works fine, you should try this out.
Cons: The Make CD/Floppy drive's window is so plain.
I wouldn't find it easy to discover that you can switch Image (double-click it).
Is that multi-boot works with a stand-alone UltraISO or you must buy EasyBoot as well? I don't really get the meaning of the other review.
WAV only? Serious? Oh man, it's such a pity you can't add mp3, ogg or wma (etc.) to the music cd.
There's no error message - which would help - when you can't add a file to the cd/dvd (fe. at audio cds).
It sad at the help it'll automaticly optimize the iso structure, i wonder what the Optimize checkbox could be then.

"Powerful management of ISO contents"
Pros: Decent GUI. Supports command-line parameters for automating tasks (like copying CD/DVDs to ISO images). Nero Interface. Daemon Tools Interface. The author keeps updating the software quite regularly.
Cons: I haven't come across any. Read the help, or ask for help in the online forum and pretty much everything is doable.
